Thomas G. Glick


Tom is a sole practitioner of the firm specializing in probate administration, fiduciary litigation and special education law. Preceding opening his own practice, Mr. Glick was a principal at the law firm of Danna MCKitrick, PC. Prior to that Mr. Glick formed and operated his own boutique practice, first as a sole practitioner before being joined by a partner and later an associate. Before entering private practice he was a staff attorney to the St. Louis County Probate Court.

Mr. Glick has published scholastic articles in the St. Louis Bar Journal, the St. Louis Business Journal, the Journal of Dispute Resolution and is the recurring author for two separate chapters for the Missouri Bar Desk Book on Estate Administration. He is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Glick served on the Missouri Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging.

For the 2010-2011 bar year Mr. Glick served as President of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Prior to election, he served in many positions and on many B.A.M.S.L sections and committees, including Chair of the Probate and Trust Section. Mr. Glick also actively participates in The Missouri Bar where he serves as a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. Mr. Glick serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. Mr. Glick is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.

In 2005 Mr. Glick was presented with the B.A.M.S.L. President’s Outstanding Service Award and in 2002 he received an award for his pro bono work in the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. He is rated “AV” by his colleges as reported in Martindale-Hubble and was selected for inclusion in the 2010 Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition

Mr. Glick received his B.A. in government from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

Brenda Ann Guynes 

Brenda is a Social Worker with experience advising parents about the IEP process.  She is a parent mentor for MPact.  She has also been through the Parent Leadership Institute through Special School District.
 
Brenda was a co-founder and volunteer for the Active Minds Institute. She was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in 2007-2008. Before that, she received her Master of Social Work from Washington University, where she was a Practicum Advisory Representative, Children, Youth & Family Representative, and an officer for Voices for Children.
 
She was a teacher at a variety of schools, including Ladue and Normandy School Districts. She also attended the FOCUS Leadership for Teachers program, where she learned the discrepancies among children in the St. Louis area. She has a B.S. in Education and a B.A. in Political Science.
 
At the University of Missouri, Brenda was a reporter, a peer educator, a Student Coordinating Committee Member, Alpha Sigma Lambda Honors Society Member, and Outstanding Student of 1998-1999. She graduated Magna Cum Laude.
 
She is active in the community, working toward policies to help children and families in the region.  She also volunteers as the Communications Chair of the R.M. Captain PTO and as the Chair of the PAC for Special Needs Children in her local district.  She is also active as the Co-Chair of the Justice for All Ball, which raises funds for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri; as a fundraiser for Autism Speaks; as a volunteer and fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation; and a grantwriter for various organizations. Additionally, as a mother of child with special needs, Brenda lends a parental perspective to the law firm.
